I don't want to be a raid lead really, but I'm cool with helping one of the groups steamroll through the 10 mans.

Well here's the dealio. 10 man's are still an important aspect to our progression since it helps people fill in the gap to their gear until something better drops from 25 mans. In addition, new guildies, reserve raiders who don't get to do 25 mans as much, or newly dinged 80's need much of the gear from 10 mans. So.... that means we need to approach 10's with coordination like we do 25's.

What I have seen thus far is: 25's have gone from a little chaotic and unorganzied, with people showing up late and/or still doing dailies while we are trying to group to how it is now... a well oiled raiding machine with the majority of people showing up on time fully prepared. The difference was that we organzied and coordinated how we as a guild do our 25 man raiding. Well, 10's raiding has been chaotic with people starting runs that never finish, finishing other peoples runs without all original members, or some people who just don't get the opportunities to go.

So let's try to organize them. This will hopefully correct the issues we have had with them. This will of course only apply to current content so as we progress to T8 instances we will stop scheduling for T7 instances. As a side note, this will be beneficial to us for fast progression through Ulduar by getting in synch with a group of 10 people.

The hope with synching these groups is that they will become very in tune with one another. This will be helpful when Ulduar comes out, to have competant 10 man groups capable of progressing through the new instances which in turn will help the 25 man group in it's progression as well. And yes, TNE does want to be first in progression cuz "if you ain't first, your'e last".

There are some challenges however. One major challenge will be tanks. In our 25 man raid group we need 3 tanks. To have 3 10 man raid groups we will need 6 tanks. It could be possibly to have some of the druids, pallys, or DK's respec and be the OT's. That could solve the problem.

So let's do it. First step is we need group leads. Let's start with putting 2 groups together. Once we have those 2 then we can form a 3rd. In each group we will need to keep a balance to ensure guild advancement.

The balance I speak of is:

8 people who are geared and very experienced with the entirety of Naxx. One of those 8 must be a self sufficient leader capable of leading the group successfuly.

2 people who need experience and loot from Naxx. These 2 people will /love the other 8 throughout the run because they are getting most of the loot since the other 8 should be well geared already.

Once we have the groups established it is ok to swap people in and out as needed but if we should try to stick to the plan as much as possible.

SOOOO, if you think you gotz what it takes to lead a 10 man, please reply to this post stating you would like to be considered. We will review them this week and choose 2 raid leads from it.

The next step for the raid leads is to decide on the night and the time for the raids and these raids will be weekly at the same time every week.

Raid leads MUST be able to attend 98% of raids and the 2% that they cannot attend that they notify the co-lead in the group so he/she can lead it and find a replacement.
